ALDI is gearing up to open a new Long Island location on December 12 in East Northport.
The store, located at 4000 Jericho Turnpike in East Northport, will be ALDI’s 14th location on Long Island.
This opening follows the launch of another ALDI store in Central Islip last week.
Other Long Island locations include Bay Shore, Bohemia, Carle Place, Lake Grove, Selden, and Valley Stream.
A Grand Opening
The ALDI East Northport store will kick off its opening day with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:00 AM.
As part of its grand opening celebration, shoppers will have a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card. To enter, scan the code on an in-store promotional sign and submit your details between December 12 and 15.
Additionally, the first 100 customers on December 12 will receive a golden ticket that could be worth up to $100.
ALDI will also be offering a limited supply of free shopping totes on opening day.

ALDI presently has three openings at its East Northport location:
- Full-time Store Associate
- Part-time Store Cashier/Stocker
- Full-time Assistant Store Manager

Rapid Expansion
In March, ALDI announced plans to open 800 stores across the United States by the end of 2028. The company has a strong presence in the Northeast and Midwest and is expanding in the Southwest through its acquisition of Southeastern Grocers. New locations are also planned for Arizona, Southern California, and Nevada.
The Germany-based ALDI Group operates more than 12,000 stores worldwide and also owns Trader Joe’s.
