Fans of Netflix’s Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte can step into the world of Regency-era romance this weekend at Old Westbury Gardens.
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, the historic estate will host a Bridgerton-inspired dance class.
The event, which will take place at The Barn at Orchard Hill, located on the Gardens site.
Guests ages 16 can learn graceful, period-style dance steps. Best of all no experience or partner is required.
Class Instructor
Leading the class is Susan de Guardiola, a dance historian and instructor from New Haven, who specializes in early 19th-century dance.
De Guardiola will guide attendees through simple choreographies inspired by the TV series and offer insights into how Bridgerton’s dances compare to those from the actual Regency and Jane Austen era.
